Today Sydney got to have two of the three chest tubes removed!!! They were not draining very much fluid so they decided to take them out. She also got the tube that was draining fluid from her belly taken out Yeah! She still has the large chest tube in, it will most likely be there for awhile longer. Sydney has had a hard day today, she has an infection that she got from her chest being open, at the moment they are watching it closely because it has the potential to make her really sick, they are treating it with meds and hopefully that is all it will take! She is going in this afternoon to get her lung scoped in the O.R., she will have to be sedated again. They are hoping that they can find out the problem with her lung and find out why it is not inflating. If all goes well with that procedure they may start feeding her breast milk by this evening!

Congrats on getting some of Sydney's tubes removed! we are so happy for you guys and hope her lung scope goes okay today. We love the pictures you have of her; she is so darling! I also love the bows you put in her hair.
