I put these pictures in so that you could see all the many machines and tubes and I.V.'s that are keeping our sweet baby going, its kind of overwhelming to look at isn't it! Before Sydney went in for her scope, the nurse suctioned out two blood clots from her lungs, we were a little concerned that she might have a bleed in her lungs and we were kind of worried and anxious to get her in for her scope. The scope of her lung went well! They discovered that Sydney did have a mucus plug in her lung and also some old blood. They suctioned it out and inflated her lung, right away her saturation levels jumped to the hight 90's. The x-ray of her lungs this morning showed her lung looking better then it did yesterday. If she continues to do good with her lungs they may take her off the ventilator in two to three days after her lung heals. She was started on breast milk this morning!(yeah) I finally feel like I am doing something more for her then just sitting here and staring, I can now give her nutrition again! YEAH! Thanks for all the comments we miss all of you so much and the comments and e-mails help us to feel like we are not so far way surrounded by strangers! We love you all!

hey, i'm glad that little sydney is doing better than she was. She is just so dang adorable!!! I don't know how you guys do it, and I thought that one little IV was bad...man oh man. Love you guys, let us know if you need something
It is good to hear that Syndey is doing better! She sure is a fighter. It is really good that you are reading to her I am sure just hearing your voice makes her feel safe. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Hope all continues to go so well!

Just wanted you to know that there are so many people in the ward concerned with little Sydney! I'm sure its so hard to see her hooked up to all of that.. modern medicine is amazing! I'm glad she is doing better! You are all in our thoughts and prayers daily!
