We have finally graduated out of the PICU, it took two long weeks but we finally made it to our own room. Funny thing is we made it to the same room we were in when we were on this floor before the surgery! Sydney is doing so good, she actually nursed!!!! I could not believe it when she latched right on and started to suck!!! She had a little bit of a hard time nursing during the night but I hope that maybe as she gets stronger she will be able to nurse for longer periods of time. During the next couple of days we are going to work on weaning her from the oxygen, there is a possibility that she could go home on oxygen but we are going to try to get her completely off of it. We are also keeping a close eye on her heart beats, her lungs and whether or not she is gaining enough weight. She weighed in at 7 pounds before her surgery and this morning she was 7 pounds 4 ounces. anyway we are doing great and if Sydney continues to progress like this she might get to leave Primary's by Saturday or Sunday!

YEAH!!!! I am so excited to hear the good news. Sydney looks so cute!!!!! It sure was fun to see Julie holding her also. Caralee you are doing a great job, Sydney is so lucky to have parents like she has. We love you and miss you!!

We are so glad you are doing good. Jonathan loves to look at the site with me and is always saking how you are doing. Sydney looks so cute. We love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
