They took Sydney off of the medicine that made her not move yesterday. She still is on pain killers and sedatives, so she only started to move a little. She will open her eyes sometimes, when one touches her skin. Though we haven't been able to catch it on camera yet.
The nurses are concerned about her kidney function, so they are giving her medicine to make her flush more urine out of her body.
I forgot to give information on her condition on this blog. She has what is called Truncus Arteriousus. The two bottom chambers of her heart didn't split into two when she was forming in the womb, so she had to have them separated, and have a valve added to her heart. Since birth this condition made her have low blood oxygen, and was giving her Pulmonary Hypertension. The Pulmonary Hypertension can cause permanent Lung damage, though they think we caught it early enough not to have that happen. Hi Seth and Caralee,
I am at Emily's. It was a beautiful ceremony. So glad we could be a part of it. We put Sydney's name in the temple, as well as her parents. We have a Christmas sock for her that says
"Baby's First Christmas" so she
will be fine. I am so glad she

oh FYI, Sara had her baby Friday night at 5:30ish. His name is Joseph Doran, he was 8 pounds 11 ounces (ouch!) and 20 inches long. He is just adorable!! :)
