We left Salt lake about 9:30 and we got home about 4:00 p.m. The trip was pretty good, though Sydney didn't seem to like the car seat too well. For the first hour she had this wide eyed look like she was scared, then she fussed off and on for the rest of the trip. We stopped to feed her and let her out of her car seat to stretch every hour, and she just cried when we had to put her back in. It's been weird being home after being away for most of a month, this hole crazy nightmare seems to have only lasted one week, we can hardly imagine that it has been a whole month. At times this adventure of ours seemed to never end, like there was never an end in sight, and now it seems that this episode at least is nearing an end. We still have to go back to Salt Lake for some check ups but for now we are finally home. Someone left a nice Welcome home sign and balloons on our door. Thank you to whoever you are. My heart aches thinking that Sydney will have to go through more surgery's like this in the future but maybe now that we know what to expect the next one might be a little easier. Tomorrow Sydney is going to a pediatrician to get checked out, so I will let you all know what her doctor says. Thanks for all the support!!
